Death Chant Monologue

By FXtion on March 27, 2016 9:55 pm

I wrote this soundtrack for a theatrical performance given in March 2007. It was specifically designed for the end of a monologue during which the character tries to convince himself that killing his twin brother was right, before sinking into madness.

I kept the structure, the cello/viola stuff in the beginning and the glockenspiel melody and reworked the track from here.

Holy shit, that was some good transitions and you can feel that desperation. Very good stuff!

Wow - this is amazing work smile. It also makes me think (just briefly) of the music that plays when you die in Mass Effect. Stirring stuff! And I love how it explodes near the end!

I definitely should've upload the original version as well...

Thanks! I listened to the Mass effect death theme (I only knew the name of the game) and couldn't really establish links with my track, but I'll take it as a compliment. I guess it makes sense through the filter of your own consciousness. smile Appreciate your comment.
