Was that an upright bass? The performance warmed up as you went along 
The lower notes when digging in were a bit hot but created some nice fuzz anyway!
hell no! that's a cheap Phil brand (which is not even Phil Pro) bass guitar. i tried to filter out those distorted notes, but they lay in main guitar character frequencies, so i should've just rerecorded it.
