This week I felt completely unmotivated and uninspired to create music! hmm

I put this together in 1-2 hours on Sunday evening. I needed to keep it short and sweet.

I tried to mimic the layering of piano reminiscent of what Steve Reich has done in the past. As Steve Jobs once said (quoting Pablo Picasso), "Good artists copy; great artists steal". I attempted to take the layering, repeating piano concept and make it my own.

The final piece reminds me a little of Outerstate by Kessoncoda, which you should absolutely listen to.


I think it could work as part of a soundtrack behind some suitable visuals.

Lovely relaxing piano work! Really lovely!

And yes!!! Great artists steal! I am often amazed by blatant stealing by some artists (the 1975 copying Joy Divison/LCD Soundsystem still gets me every time - if they can do it, why can't I???)
