Going Back

Week 14..."Going Back"
I'm feeling a lot better than I did 7 days ago. I had some form of "walking pneumonia" and was bed rested almost entirely last week. I did manage to start my song on Wednesday where I made a really creepy lo-fi jam that I eventually morphed it into this song. This song really came together around Thursday but I didn't really piece it all together until Saturday because when I got the energy later in the week I decided to rewire most of my PC case fans, and copy files from my old studio PC's HDD, because after 4 days of fever dreams that's what was bothering me lol. It took so much patience to do so, it gave me time to reflect on what melody and direction I wanted to take my song, and here we are.
Still not sure how I really feel to about my bridge. I produced half of this in a flat eq then half while in "bass boost" on my earbuds and I'm digging this mix. I was able to turn it up too but I need to have a set volume in the future. Can thank YOTTA for my inspiration with the effects on the vocals in the second break, I really like how he does things. (also #shoutout A-Cow, Coldsushi, Mark.0, WahSp, 2haf and KaZu. You guys make great music and it inspires me to do the same.)
A lot of you used nature sounds last week in your songs. Birds, ocean waves, wind upfilters. I think we all are excited for the spring season.
I also really missed getting my dnb/jungle fix on here last week, kind of sad that there is much less of it as of late.
Going to leave it with couple photos from this week for fun.
That's all folks, Happy Easter.
See ya next week on...Weekly Beats!
This one is of my song I made in Ableton 12 Standard with packs from Splice and an Akai MPK Mini.
This is a photo of the rewire on my PC I made the song with.
The caveman cooling while copying 600gb of files from my 16 year old HDD, from my old PC.
For the sake of going back. This is my old PC I built in 2009 when I took the journey to producing.
