Feel The Beat

Week Nine

I think maybe during the weeks I'll write something for my posts so I can streamline the upload because on Sunday's around this time its a struggle with time to write a description worthy of one post a week and I feel like I want to say more than what I actually put here.

Anyway I made a general project file for "Feel The Beat" with a cheese beat on Wednesday and had time Friday night to put in some work to this. Bunch of different ideas at the start and many drafts. Saturday night I really dove in and started making more a final idea that I touched up this morning. The mix is messy and so is the layout. I had to turn a lot of stuff down to be able to make it loud but I think it kind of sounds weird. I think I'll revisit this later and clean it up. Wish I was better at naming songs lol.

If you listen or enjoyed, Thank You.

Till next week on...Weekly Beats!

This is some well-arranged house, very fun to listen to. Nice samples, a good mix, just the right amount of energy.

Naming things really is hard.

For what it's worth neither the mix nor the arrangement stuck out to me as messy at all. Could just be one of those things were looking at an arrangement in a DAW colours your feelings about it (which I get a lot) and then once you listen later it seems a lot more cohesive. Anyway, great execution on your ideas here imo!

+1 here also having a hard time naming tracks. The arrangement did not strike me as messy at all here. Great track with a very enjoyable groove. The vocals samples fit the sound perfectly.

Glad you had fun listening parappayo, that’s what it’s all about.

My DAW file for this song looks like I threw paint at a canvas and said viola! Ha, but I have methods to my madness and I’m glad to hear you can vibe with that. Thanks A-Cow

Glad to hear you enjoyed my song and could get down with the groove smile thanks qp

If you're having a hard time naming them but a good time writing them, then that's not so bad.

Groovy track btw

I, too, can feel the beat in question and am overcome with the urge to get down. Great sound and easy to bounce to!

Very funky, love the bass layers.

I do need to start looking at it like a glass half full lol.
Thanks waziam smile

I meant the difficulties trying to write a good description for the weekly beat on a Sunday afternoon. 😀
