Week 16.."About You"
Going to remind myself this is Weekly Beats and not Weekly Rants.
Went 53 days without drinking alcohol, that's huge for me. Anyway I broke my streak this past Friday for better or worse, and made this song.
Went to a Wedding on Saturday with my gf, we dressed nice and had a lot of fun. We were in bed by 10 lol, I woke up at 6am today and worked on the mix of my song. Kind of deaf from it. Not sure if it'll be the final mix.
If I had a lil more time I'd do something different with my bass line.
I'm proud of it to say the least. Other than the full vocal from Splice at 1:45 / 3:45 and the drum breaks (which I did at least rearrange) at 0:56 / 1:45 / 1:56 - 2:56 / 3:41 / 3:56,
I didn't use tops or loops. Just sounds from Serum2 which I arranged and my drum kits I programmed with one shots from Splice.
got my underground dnb/jungle fix from ya'll last week. I'm thankful for that.
Hope you all enjoyed my song, as always I'm looking forward to hearing everyone else's songs on here throughout the week. Lets keep our streaks going!
