For this week I wanted to make an ostinato based synth piece and started off trying to build the piece with a Serge sequencer/programmer. I had this 7/8 line stuck in my head and it was quite satisfying to figure out the signal logic to realize it on the Serge. However the logic patch and the tuning were very fiddly so I sampled the modular synth and started layering interlocking patterns in Bitwig. To finish it off I improvised some pads and a "violin" line with the Osmose.

Cursory

I really like the blend of sounds, especially between the main ostinato loop and the bass + violin. 7/8 sounds great here!
