I noticed people embedding videos and them being unavailable to me because the embed requires Flash (which I have disabled for months). I believe this is the same system as cm.o

If I get it right, you just put the Youtube video URL code there and your code makes the embed happen. Can that code be changed to use the HTML5 code instead? That way it will work even on mobiles. Youtube fully supports HTML5 for a while now. And everyone hates Flash. Right?
