it's not weekly but i made a video, too... for NPR's Tiny Desk Competition. It's honestly not that great, but I thought I'd share.

If nobody else is volunteering, I can set up a bandcamp page for a selection of your WB-2014 tracks. Let me know which one you want, and a wave file, and I can work on compiling?

Salut you filthy animals. It was a pleasure to have taken such a perilous journey. Ive seen and heard the improvements in sound, quality, composition and creativity from all of you. I hope this isnt the end for us!
We should all keep in touch or make a comp album with everyone that wants to be on it!

Whos downsies?

Awww yisss!

Hey um... @ipaghost... not to single you out or something but you might be a great candidate for a visual "aesthetic" as @vinpous mentioned above... you're not busy right?? :-)

Yeah I'm down if somebody wants to do the curating for it/set guidelines for aesthetics/etc.

so this would be a band camp thing?

You know i have no idea. I hear that it remains a pain even for people who do it a lot. I did not see any sync problems in yours, by the way. I think the format is great because you can reach more people that way but it is additional tinkering that I am reluctant to get into.

Lovely! Was it difficult to sync pics and sound?

Do you feel you have gone into any particular direction this year? Like, would you say you're more experimental now or more melodic or more confused or anything? Or just different?

Personally I feel that I'm slightly less mainstream (although still pretty mainstream, I know) because I've experimented more with different song formats and composition techniques. Also I started playing lute this summer, that was kinda a change.

The feedback from you all was (and is) wonderful. To be honest, sometimes I am missing some negative feedback, but I think it's better to err on the side of positive online.

My music has changed this year, I think, partly because it's been heard by more people than any other year.

I'm not sure yet if I will continue with WB next year. I am considering (a) posting a classical piece each week or (b) a one-take improvisation. Both of those projects would help me preparing to play live, because that's really what I want to do.
