is there a way to make a playlist of just my favourite tunes?

is there a way to listen to tracks of my favourite artists only?

can i make a "exclude" list of artists so none of their tracks show up in the playlist?

1 - There sure is, you can filter by favorited tracks.
2 - There sure is, you can filter by favorited artists (every track you favorite, you favorite the artist as well)
3 - No there is no functionality for that at the moment.
