Since it's week three, I'd like to throw out the idea of writing tracks in 3/4. Or the theme could be triplets.
Otherwise I'm into the Double Time, Half Time idea.
Bumping this since people are still commenting on the Week 2 Thread

How 'bout doing something crazy like 11/8. That's a challenge

ooh damn! That sounds like it could be pretty epic!
I am doing a terrible job of keeping up with this, haha, sorry guys.
Nonstandard time sig for Week 3
Wait, I'm confused.. shouldn't we be deciding on the theme for the following week, not the current week?
Ended up going w 7/8 for this week's beat, the most borderline-traditional yet non-traditional time sig.

I think gnarlysunshine was just late on confirming this week (all good btw, happens), but this thread started last week. Maybe we can choose the next two weeks' themes this time around in order to get the discussion going a bit further in advance and give us a week's leeway?
yeah I think so. I don't check this forum often enough but it'd be good to have something to go by if I ever get started early on my weeklybeat (lol)
