ok cool hopefully we can get a series going on. interested to hear what you'd come up with! I think i fell in love with the linn drum sounds, even though i was expecting not to. gonna make another track after this week's one which turned out pretty interesting!
here's my first stab at the linn sequencing http://weeklybeats.com/#/george+bowles/ i---linnes
Sorry I didn't get to commit to it...right in the middle of a music outdoor doof thing... I'll try again real soon, gonna do it still
But I'll take a listen to yours now

ha, wild! thanks for participating. the artifacts within the cymbal sample are revealed! nice soundscapeness to it.
Let's do another one, different type of variable this time...
Help pick one of these? or add your own and lets agree on it?
1) Field Recording using a Kitchen Microwave (My favorite so far) <--- ****
2) Space Toms (if Anyone can find the samples!?)
3) 200BPM?
4) 10BPM?
5) I'm outta ideas
Maybe check out the freeware "BFXR" and try generating some .wavs in it
