Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Hey, I thought it would be great to browse the tracks depending on license, so that for week 5 (actually whichever week) we could have a "Remix" theme where participants are encouraged to remix a track submitted by another user under a license that allows derivative works... (I know we can do that without the filter but it would make the process smoothier 
)

Yes why not. I don't really agree with the themes because I feel like I can't really express myself, but the remix idea is really fun.
I'm not a fan of themes either but they're only suggestions aren't they?
Definitely only suggestive. It's just for fun really. Participation is optional. If you're not sure what to do for a tune one week, they could be a source of inspiration.
