The results are in and the theme for week 4 is "Shared Melody" by the highest margin in theme history! (2012 and 2014)

Pselodux was kind enough to provide us with a melody for this theme

Godspeed, Weeklybeaters!

One person write a melody, everybody can include this same melody in any way they want to in their song. This was originally talked about here

Milkcrate would imply writing a song would take around 24 hours, but I really want my recording sessions to be no longer than 10 minutes. I don't want to destroy my uke, so Black Metal is going to be a bit harsh, but I can probably make it work.

I like the other three, I'm still skimming the surface of this whole instrumental stuff, so I'm going for Chinatown.

Reversed Samples does sound like fun.  But curious to this melody share thing also.  Week 4 is pretty much a write off for me as I head to a music festival from Wed onward.

At a stretch you could probably submit some Burzum-style dark synth ambience.

Also I might record some generic inward screams and shrieks tonight or tomorrow, if anyone is interested in using them this week..

Sure, as long as nobody else wants to do it
