Here's mine. Didn't go quite where I expected to. There's a bit more synth action in there than I'd planned but it was built around a loop of background noise made from two different audio recordings last week. The kick drum was initially put in there as a glorified click track but I ended up quite liking it. I smothered it in reverb though in an attempt to emulate a depth charge going off.

On the soft modular kamioooka. Basically 2 lfo with random curves modulating a noise vco and a vcf and some portion of feedback looping.

I only just saw this theme but I tend to fall under these concepts usually so this week's piece can be a contribution to the theme.

My contribution this week has some intentional discordance, but it isn't exactly noise.  The discordance even has a couple bars of reversed guitar so it would have been great for last week.

I might skip the theme this time, as I've already made too much noise in the past weeks. Also, had been busy with some traveling, rock-climbing and etc. Might not submit anything at all. Not sure. Lets see...

Interesting. But I wonder, 100 years on, if it's more noise that we want? I think about how in some ways music isn't nearly as special as it used to be because we hear it constantly when it used to be a rare treat ... and of course we also hear noises constantly - the buzzing of machines, cars passing by, etc - in some ways it seems that this makes one ache for the kind purity of sound that this author dismisses as being old hat ... but I can also see the point of constantly hearing noise making the ear ready to hear symphonies of noise. Anyway - I've done some noise based things before (and listened to quite a bit of Cage, Stravinsky, Schoenberg ... classical music that may be heard as "noise" to people who've only heard Bach) so ... I don't know. I'm going to think about it some more and listen to some noise music and see if any interesting inspiration strikes.
