Hello all, buying stuff for music is fun, but since many of us doesn't do a penny with that hobby, sometimes free is good... What is the free stuff that you find very good, that you work on your workflow. I will not post only things that I do use since it could be useful for somebody else.

DAW:
Cakewalk by bandlab is pretty good, much more stuff in than audacity by default. https://www.bandlab.com/products/cakewalk
audacity

FX:
https://www.tokyodawn.net/tokyo-dawn-labs/ I love the compressor, works very well.

Instruments:
https://asb2m10.github.io/dexed/ FM synth that works pretty good. you can hear it on "Sports with my love" track...

Is there a sampler that is not too clunky (I don't like the cockos reaper one) that is easy to use and can load most used samples library for free?

I had a bunch of other software free because I do own a focusrite soundcard as well but didn't include it here.

Have a good one all.

(If you have good free samples sites to share free of copyrights, it could be nice.)
