Too many gnomes, too little time

You couldn't find Mr. Snoodle. There are simply too many gnomes, and not enough time. You decide to exit the grand hall into the snowy streets of the Snow Gnome village and head to the place where you are staying tonight.
oh dear, what's this? It appears you are met with two different paths to choose from. Hopefully whichever you choose will not land you in some trouble-- you did not bring with any weapons, though you might have something in your bag... Better choose quickly! The snow is picking up quite annoyingly.
