This is a very well written song.  The chorus chord progression is wild but it totally works.  I think the piano riff adds a lot of character to the progression.

Nice composition and lyrics! Great that you included them, makes it easier to follow along as it's quite hard to understand the voice alone. It's really nice, I can totally imagine someone making a cover of it with a band or just on guitar in a crummy bar somewhere

The recording done on the laptop microphone actually adds character to this track. As if, walking down a street at night, we were eavesdropping on someone playing a song on their piano. The piano sounds gorgeous with that too, having a lot of body.
