Well, here we are.
Honestly, I'm not sure that I'll see this one through. Might not even make it past the first few weeks, if that. But we'll see. We. Will. See.

I was excited to potentially do this entire year in Ardour on Manjaro, but it's just such a clusterfuck to reliably use Linux (with my limited experience outside the command line). So, here we are, done in Ableton Live (mastered in Reaper).

This one began as a sketch for the theme/intro music to a podcast. But deviated quickly and became its own thing.

I love this so much!

Thanks!

Made some visuals for it too: https://www.instagram.com/p/CYh7E6VgZhG/

Lovely low end bass tone/pad with the contrasting melodies. The ratcheting percussion adds an extra element too.  Now go buy some modules!   wink

Beautiful soundscape with the many bells in different place in the sonic space!

Thanks man. I'm honestly considering just selling most of my modular stuff and starting again from scratch.

Yeah I've had a friend who's done that before.  Tabula rasa.

I think there's that learning curve thing, right? I have a bunch of modules I don't use and might be good to re-get later I guess. But also I am always torn: get a bunch of standalone stuff and small rack of Euros? Or just put everything into eurorack format?

FINE!  I'll go rewatch all of X-Files

Haha! Good life choice.

If gigging, I like to try and contain within the rig but for bigger shows, I still may supliment with a standalone.  Small euro case is nice to focus on though (and can swap out modules you don't use much for others)then choose your path from there.

Yeah. I have a 126HP rack that's not even full, now. big_smile
Just don't like paying the cash.

It's a cool track and I learned about Ardour from it, which seems super interesting and I might look into it, so thank you! Your tracks work together quite nicely btw!

Yeah, the first four are conceptually linked. Obviously cello not so much. The first three are variation sets on each other, or sections of each other.
