The Cowboy and the Stormtrooper (A Homage to Wilhelm)

So, as promised, taking kitsch to a whole new level. I was watching Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and recognised the Wilhelm scream, after showing my girlfriend the wonders of Wilhelm, I decided that this week's WeeklyBeat would be a tribute to Wilhelm's scream. All sounds in this work are derived from the scream. All of 'em.

Scream came from archive.org, public domain licensing.

Also, and rather unrelatedly influencing this work is Gyorgy Ligeti, and his research music (number 2)

I learn something every week from your tracks. Thank god for wikipedia or I wouldn't follow half the references. This is pretty funny. I like the dino roar version of the scream. good work!

dark (cool idea too, I like the constraints of having to use one sample). protman's ironchefofmusic.com features a sample drop around the time of weeklybeats deadline, if you want to create a track in an hour or two (can't remember which). after submitting weeklybeats for the week!
