ibs (abridged)

named after that ache you feel when the ibs kicks in. Stupid apples.

More TidalCycles fun. This one exploring stacks and layers of sample manipulation. Abridged a ca.20min session. Really happy with this, though the abridging could have been better. Full version will be up on SoundCloud if anyone is keen.

Very nice! Cool sounds

Cool to hear your progression with TidalCycles.  Makes me want to dip my toes in it again but I decided last time that there's only so many things I can really delve in to.  I'll live vicariously through you perhaps. smile

I love the structures created by live coding. More confined than straight-up improv but with the in-the-moment feel to it.

I've really gotta get around TidalCycles. Love this. I'm most definitely going to have myself a sound bath in the full length version later.

Thanks! Yeah it's cool isn't it? It combines for me a nice minimalist kind of slow development with the variability and expressiveness of other, more dense types of music. At least how I've explored it so far.

Thanks! It's definitely something I've wanted to do for a while now and this is the perfect time/opportunity to delve in properly. It's a bit like the more traditional modular stuff (beats, etc.) - I'm happy to live vicariously for those. smile

Haha.... deal!

Cool, sounds. Makes me think of a creepy fun house with birds flying though out. Then attack of the automatons!
