Carnation Mould (Bell Etude)

Carnation Mould: an anagram.

This is an oddly suiting title. I rendered the piece while doing laundry at a coin laundromat (from which the anagram is derived), and the piece itself is a re-arrangement of a prior rendering of the same piece, as I was unhappy with how it turned out.

It could also be called Bell Etude, as it uses a bunch of bells from Freesound.org (CC0, no permission needed to use or license requirements, all public domain).

Max MSP patch improved from last week.

I put headphones on for this, the better to appreciate the subtleties and spacial movement.

Who knew laundromats could be so productive?

We had... quite a lot to do.

I'm glad you took the time to enjoy the spatial properties!

This is so good, I could spread it on my toast. Fantastic work as always. Clean laundry AND a new track. It makes me think I really start digging around on Freesound for sound to abuse.

What a coincidence! I love toast!
