The Algorithm, in its infinite wisdom, has lately been recommending me a lot of generic synthwave songs, albums, and/or artists with irrelevant references to obsolete technology in their names - VHS, cassette tapes, 8-bit consoles and computers, et cetera.

I can't bring myself to do that, so instead I'm meta-referencing it.

Let these chill synth riffs take you back to that song you heard last week which took you back to when you were a kid loading games onto your computer with a cassette player while taping this week's episode of Transformers before going to your friend's birthday pizza party at the arcade.

My first year of Weeklybeats has turned into Sundayrushedtracksfromscratch. I have an excuse for why I keep procrastinating week after week, but to avoid traumadumping on strangers I'm not gonna give it.
