Nu Style (Or: I tried to do Nu Metal and missed)

OK, so I'm still learning the ins and outs of the bass, so most of the time was spent trying to get that in the ballpark. You can hear my strings detuning a little cuz they're too light for drop C I think smile I know the lead's a bit sloppy and clashes with the organ, and there's a sorta cut n paste casualty near the end, but I'm open to any other criticism especially about drum mixing or guitar work.

Haha I know this is bad. I think part of the problem, aside from lack of keyboard practice lately, is that for a groove like this the snare should be slightly late.

I'm posting it so I can look back at my progress at the end of the year-- here's to learning new instruments!

You did make something decent though.

Thx! I'm much happier with this week's jam. I think something changed where this time I put down a groove using more familiar tools, THEN added the guitar. It worked a lot better, though it's also a style I'm more used to which also helps.
