It's Squeakin'

I have all my Volcas set up running through guitar pedals now. I improvised one part at a time, and then chopped up and glued those pieces around so that the timings and transitions all made sense. I'm still having major sync issues between the Volcas and Reaper. I've tried both MIDI in direct, and also tried using the Minilogue to convert the MIDI clock to analog sync (which behaves a little better-- at least it doesn't always want to auto-start).

Gear: Beats through Metal Zone, Kick doing the bassline + zap thing (at the same time), Bass through RAT2, Keys through MXR Analog Chorus, Slam VST for the main drum machine, Valhalla Room for reverb; mostly still using Reaper's built-in stuff for EQ and compressor. They're just quick, detailed, and easy.

love the energy in this one, making me want to final try my hand at making Acid.

It's really fun to make. I'd recommend it.
