Drowning (in Reverb)

By ExtentOfTheJam on February 6, 2016 4:44 am

Late on a Friday night, decided to do a jam with TruePianos and a lot of reverb. I'm using my Volca Beats for the groove, Minilogue is doing the dub bass, sweeps, and bell-like lead. The chord progression is really simple, but this one is all about the texture. I've never done anything with dub/reggae influence at all, but I felt inspired to do that with the bassline here. There's no real mixing or production to speak of aside from the huge wash of reverb I added to the pianos and lead.

Great soundtrack to a unfortunately too short movie.
