played with sound design using the stock operator instrument in ableton. all sounds are operator except for the mac vocoder words, so that means the kicks and hats too. was exploring synthesis basically and this came out.

also watched 'i'll sleep when i'm dead' about steve aoki yesterday before i sat down to make this track this week. it'd been on the watchlist for quite some time. i haven't actually really ever listened to him or watched him, but interesting background and hustle. i think there was one song as part of the documentary that had a really simple pluck synth pattern that i liked so that was the inspiration for playing around with something like that here.

really cool, love when it drops into that super low deep mode, the high lead goes so nicely with it. It kind of reminds me of kraftwerk a bit
