allllllllrighty then: here's what came up this week

i started by taking the 2 tracks serendipitously submitted just before and just after mine last week, and that allowed for derivative works.

i dropped those into some samplers and started playing around, and was likely influenced by the jungle-ness and breakbeats of "looper1" so that's the direction that came out.

and then it was missing something, so i went through various vocal samples, clips, and quotes, and finally settled on the one in the track (somebody stop me, otherwise i'll be doing reflective quote samples all year).

we're all playing some kind of character aren't we? which one's truly 'you'? which masks were given to you, and which did you make yourself? which ones do you want to keep or let go of as you work to find and express that true self? or do you think there nevver vvas a true self to begin with?

forgot to thank you all for giving this one a listen and thereby help encourage me to keep on keepin' on. as mentioned on my other recent comments...it's been...a wild last couple months...so getting back into it, and wanting to thank members of the community for the energy you put out for me - gonna give your stuff a listen too!
