movements over time

went to the symphony last night with a friend. got inspired by the analog flow and structures of movements. tried to play with some organic/analog (read: non-electronic) instruments, and then experiment with different sections that combine the old with the new. also re/watched/listened to New Radicals "You Get What You Give" at some point today and that probably led to the string part inspo.

got to focus on sound design, mixing, and arrangement

Juicy. I love how you move us through the different parts of the song; each piece is well each is well tied to the previous. At the end you're in the same song but an entirely different song at once. That intro was great; I felt like I was on another planet.

Thanks for sharing! I don't think I would have ever picked out the "You Get What You Give" connection if you hadn't mentioned it, but I totally see it! Nice job smile
