something completely new for me came out. some kind of weird chillhop thing. i started with an old bass lick clip i had saved. then started building around that, and this is what came out. i think i was still vibing from what came out during my week 5 submission "aiw'izeu", playing with vocal sample loops and a softer complexion of plucks and melodies, so this was a continuation of that exploration.

i had fun building the overall arrangement, but got a bit stuck for how to finish it out at the end. i really liked how the build to the full layering came out, and feel like i finally started exploring more layering and variations to try to keep things interesting. also tried to spend some more time on mixing and mastering this time (still feel like i have no idea what i'm doing, but i know there's something happening).
