i kept kicking the studio-time-can down the road this week. so this week's track is really "today's" track, made in the last 3-4 hours or so. i wanted to play/practice more with melody vs drums, so i went through some older melody clips i had to start out with (thanks past me). was kinda leaning into a chiller upbeat vibe after so many brooding ones so far, so went in that direction. listened to a bonobo track a friend had sent me for some inspiration 2-3 hours into it to figure out how to arrange or what to play with after i was looping the main jingle forever.

i know we're not supposed to submit wip, and this is a finished song, but there's definitely some pieces i started to uncover and wanted to play more with to add in some layers/textures, and get the mixing/mastering right. everything's always a work in progress i suppose. just want (and need) to make more time this week and next. but so far WB2022 has got me to make more tracks than the last 2 years. thankful for this project, challenge, and community!
