This was exactly what I needed in my work day, thank you. Was this an in-the-box production, or a pedals-on-table kind of thing?

In-the-box, but I did it during improvisation in a rather simple and interesting way (as it seems to me). Looped a few milliseconds, added effects and moved various samples to this area, simultaneously raising/lowering pitch and BPM of project.
