Subtle As Stone

This one features D-Car on the raps. Learned a bunch of tricks and things for vocals with this one. Harmonies just have a little reverb on them, no mods.

Those little drifting chord stabs are so tasty!

Those liquid vocals sound cold but have a depth of hurt and anger to them. That music is awesome but the vocals are the absolute star here and I'm glad they were mixed accordingly so they can shine.

Why thank you! I find that I do that a lot as I write songs more.

You are very kind. I appreciate that. It was one of the first times I've really sat and tried to put down something clean. Glad it came across as intended. ❤️🫠

Heard this one playing the random playlist, wow! I've been doing weekly beats for years, this is one of the best tracks I've ever heard on weekly beats.  The drums and slow groove of everything with the vocals is just bursting with style and charisma.  I did not expect the rap to drop in, but it works so well, the lyrics and most importantly the delivery are just right for the vibe of this.  Well done!  Big high five!

Thank you for this lovely comment 🙃❤️ I had tons of support and help from WB friends with mixing and editing things. It kind of boosted my confidence to really step in with vocals all the way. This means a lot to me since... as of this moment it's my best work. But I know there's so much more to learn and discover.
