Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.

The instrumentation works really well! The drums punch, the percussion is fun and quirky, and you have the dark pad chords contrasted against all these elements that sound super sweet and major-ish by themselves. Giving a ton of interest to a minimal arrangement. The vocal recording sounds great, too. Maybe some more FX like delay and/or reverb would help to make it take up/ provide a little more space than the overall sound has currently, but it works as is. Great job!

Very much appreciate the constructive thoughts! I usually bleed a ton of reverb on my stuff. Listening back you are right. It could use some more. And for the minor to major vibe, I started messing with scale functions I knew nothing about, but my ears said yes.
