Crazy week. Car repairs ate most of time. Finally repaired. Received extra services for fuck up by dealer. Very little work done. Finished DO live set refresh. Scheduled to work on it today. Kitchen sink flooded. H worked to fix. Thought it was a small job... was not. Ended up burning out garbage disposal and installed new one. Old pipes clog easy. Downstairs neighbor had issues too. Came to ask what's going on. Shower fixed somehow along the way. Talked about his immigration in the 90's escaping war. Compared family and friend's stories. learned about neighbors in other buildings. Also building history. Nice man.

Art and wine festival w/ wife. Always a pleasure. Mexican beers in the hot sun. Vietnamese tacos blaspheme (in the best way). Bought bucket hat and random knick knacks. Ate poorly. Pleasant conversations w/ strangers in lines. Dog watching.  Received call from old roommate. Group call with 659 friends from college from SD Comicon. Chatted and said hello to old friends. Updates. He has a new daughter now. Got home and listen to old music. Ordered cheap camera to detach from phone. Fell deeply down Shortwave and amateur radio rabbit hole. Spent several nights cruise airwaves. Interested in international Chinese stations broadcasted in english. Hops across frequencies. Interesting hearing another country's propaganda. Compared w/ western stations it's far more focused on highlighting infrastructure wins of country and projecting a unified vision. Listened to activations from germany, japan, korea, midwest, new york. Fascinated by de-centralized chaos in that universe. Anarchistic but, communal in structure.

Watched movie w/ friends T&K w/ AL. Discussed the themes and philosophical differences in how to think of it. Ate dinner together Headed to his art school open house.
