W19 - Abusing Physical Modeling Synthesis

I wasn't feeling harmonies or rhythm this week. Instead, I wanted to see what I could do with the Mutable Instruments Elements module. Sound design and exploring was my main focus.


I created a generative patch and recorded several layers of it doing its thing while I tweaked things as it went along. Afterward, I jammed it into my DAW and did some basic production stuff. It might not be one of my most musical submissions but I had a lot of fun making it and experimenting. Elements sound great even in digital form. I may need to pick one up for my eurorack at some point.

impressive! initially I thought I was hearing found sound recordings, I cannot even begin to comprehend how you were able to get these sounds out of a synth.
