Messy

This song is a sloppy little tune with a lot of weird going on (hopefully in a good way). The Realistic Concertmate MG-1 by Moog has been one of my favorite synths since the day I first bought it. It is in a lot of ways more powerful then some of the more well known moogs at a significantly cheaper price point. I have been told by many people that it was too limited or weak for them to take seriously but I actually feel quite the opposite. It's dirty, unique, simple, and one of my main synths. I seriously use it for most of my songs in one way or another.

One draw back the mg-1 does have is that there is no midi control and as a tweaker, knob twiddler, and as a rather untalented keyboardist this can be a hard thing for me. Lucky for me CV is an option and that Aurturia just put out the Beatstep sequencer and controller that can be used as a CV to midi interface for your computer. I picked one up this week and went to town with my favorite underrated synth. All the sounds in this song were generated by the MG-1 with no exceptions. Add some effects and begin to twiddle them knobs and slide those sliders and I got this little beast. I am particularly proud of the drum synthesis in this one.

Toys used (for consistency):
Aurturia Beatstep
Realistic Concertmate by Moog MG-1

great track. thanks for sharing the making of. have to checkout the beatstep.

I have a huge respect for anyone making a track with only one synth!
Song is nice and lovely sounds; imo.if that snare would have little bit more meat then it would be perfect, kicks and HH's sound great. As that bass:)

Great work!
