Korg ES-1 MK.II Sampler Jam

By ENC_ on November 2, 2014 9:32 am

I had a quick jam session today with a new little sampler that I picked up on the cheap and am enjoying pretty well. I have a basic hardware setup I have been planning for live sets and the sampler I want to use has similar functions to this one but implemented with much more advanced controls. Until I can afford that sampler I am using this one to get a feel for how some of my ideas of use might be utilized and how they might sound once implemented.

Everything was sequenced, sampled, effected, improvised, and played via the sampler and was recorded directly into Ableton where I did some minor EQing and mastering on the stereo track.

Toys used:
Korg Electribe ES-1 MK.II (sampler)
Volca beats (sampled)
Roland TR-606 (sampled)
XM/Mod Samples

Awwwww yeah.  Nice filter resonance!  Nice driving rhythm and fun variations.
