I decided to experiment with some sound techniques after watching the 2017 GDC talk on the newest DOOM soundtrack and this was the results. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4FNBMZsqrY

The idea was to push the synthesis of a sub bass sine through the use of feedback chains through effects treatment and have it all push and pull based on a the hierarchy of a sidechained compression network that I built around the bass and electric kicks. I later decided to experiment more with stacking and sends to add extra harmonic variation. Every thing was done in box in a manner that I could best imitate hardware processing and feedback reactions.

I think if I extended the length and added more traditional instrumentation (metal guitar, vocals, live drums) I would be happier with the results.  For now this is as far as I go as I don't have the means to attempt this rn.

cool!

Really into that crunchy distortion. The first part with the sliding notes is sick.
