*thank you Joshua Wayne Hensley for your bass styling & god's mom for your blessed mother pedal sounds
Josh has a mastering program he's been playing with in Reaper - I was curious how it would do with one of my old live recordings with the laptop mic - I did some remixing this week & Josh added some cool bass styling direct input - I was happy with the result considering it was recorded so low fi - thank you Josh for playing bass & re-mastering this piece!
my signal chain: laptop mic in garageband live recording > 2 fender acoustic guitar tracks gb acoustic guitar reverb > 2 vocal tracks > gb acoustic guitar reverb > copied double vocal deep space reverb > peak limiter on all the tracks > mastered with gb ambient starry night preset
Josh's signal chain:
Original Mix: Into Reaper > Ran through Izotope RX 7 De-hum > ReaEQ
Bass: Fender Mustang PJ Bass > The Blessed Mother > Fat Foot Overdrive > EP Booster > Boss DD-3 > Electro Harmonix Freeze > Warm WA73 > Scarlett 2i4 > Neutron 3 > JS: Convolution Amp/Cab Modeler (Tweed Champ)

The image broke, but the song is whole.
Hypnotic ambient track. I thought this was pure electronic, it's very interesting to see that actually you've been using a real bass with a lot of effects to get that sound.
Pretty much perfect. This doesn't sound like a WB, it sounds like a finished album track.
Thank you! That was what I was hoping for!

Only on this track - most of what I do is in garage band - but I sometimes play guitar live & sometimes Josh adds stuff - if I didn't give him cred - it was the computer
-Thank you all for listening!
