The choise of instruments in here was very nice. I hear horns, and something like a cello mellotron. The tiny pianodrops take their time to appear at the right moments. Your voice as always is cathedral diffused and beautiful. The subject, more or less, is sad.
Peaceful and beautiful with sadness but a sense of hope as well.
i like the poem, but maybe they were also the spoken lyrics?
REALLY loved the 2:50+ secret ending
This calmed me down, peaceful. Thank you. Yes, a hint of hope too. Oh yeah, cool ending, rise up!
The opening theme is perfect for the title. Painted an early foggy morning with lots of elapsed plant life time The outro had a cool "to be continued" effect. Super calming track. Well done!
Wow, that was a ride. So beautiful. Really lost myself in textures.
thank you!

thank you! love that this was calming for folks as i was feeling heavy - perhaps self soothing with music? the outro was stolen from last weeks song "arise" - i had meant to work on a part 2 for arise but was feeling in a different mood than where i was gonna go with that... so i ended up making an intro really for last weeks song
I like the cello line on this track, It really drives it. It's nice you used the concept of buried and arise, with the track rising up after the silence.
The cello and piano sound beautiful together with your vocal accompaniment. Love the powerful ending. It evokes the feeling of the last phrase rise up! And bookends really nicely with last weeks track.

your work is so beautiful and heavy (or weightless? maybe both if that's possible), I never feel like I have the words to comment, except- thank you and please keep going!
I like that simple synth sound the most. I think your music is much more intense that it isn't: even when the surface is calm there's a friction with a word, phrase, concept, or contrast to appreciate, so that anchor / grounding moment is crucial. Absolutely beautiful work.
I'd ruin this by pairing it with slow motion explosion. This also reminds me of the best game trailer ever created (for a terrible game). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mi5bH0fIxE

this means so much - thank you!

you are so good with words ilzxc! i'm always trying to find that anchor - thank you for hearing me

ha - well the zombies do fit the buried arise theme for sure...
Inspirational, and calming. What synth sound did you use at the 3 minute mark?
Inspirational, and calming. What synth sound did you use at the 3 minute mark?
- the synth part at the end was cut and pasted from week 14/arise
- the sounds were from garageband "soundscapes" library: crystal spheres, adrift in the void, dark choral soundscape
-the synths on that track were layered in 4 tracks with a lot of processing on them
- 3 of the tracks were just duplicates 2 of which were panned left right and the crystal spheres track was not
