The head of the ship looks like the unicorn version of the drakkar's dragon head.
Beautiful ambient track!

I prefer the term "boat-free"

The guitar line makes for a nice compliment to the vocals and the synth lines. Really pretty.

Your minimalist lyrics become their own form of poetry like a haiku but different rules.  Maybe Emilyku. A few words with enough impact to carry the song. I like the syny intro and the warm guitar line.

This, like, transcends... It's like you took "one of those" opening moments of a bluegrass / old country song that hits you in the solar plexus, but sustained in all of its original slow-motion impact across the 2:45 minute running time. (Congrats, this is awesome!)

love the synths filling the space and only leaving room when the other instruments and voice comes in. like when you feel overwhelmed by a situation and there are still details that you notice but the overwhelming sensation returns after each detail is observed.

the way the song keeps the energy drone all the way through is phenomenal. I love the chorus on the guitar. It fits very well. beautifully done.

and here I am, just floating on the sound waves
- Ebrit

Interesting that it's about being stranded on the shore without a boat because I felt very floaty while listening to this.  Perhaps no boats are necessary.

May we all find a boat, and float away, riding, riding the wave this brings. Feeling the drone, guitar, voice, a full experience

it's so interesting to hear you say this - i was really struggling to get it all to sit right in the mix - and was having this sensation too!  thank you!

it started out with just that moving synth bit & josh wrote the guitar parts & it felt like it needed a slower drone & then the vocals came... glad it was working together well - i think i added more effects to his guitar after he sent them to me - i was worried he wouldn't like them but josh approved smile

oh good - i think we've both been dreaming of swimming and haven't done that at all this year so we are finding sonic ways to float!  smile

this track resounds with such monolithic brilliance!

Oof that warm synth sound combined with the kick does really hit ya in the chest when it starts.  But your ethereal vocals and JWH's guitar_skilz really brings it altogether to create this floaty dreamlike state.  Those chorusey strums from Josh sound sweet too.  Beautiful sound

I LOVE the synth sound. This is a glorious track.
