Enjoy the coffee cake, well-deserved: Such dreamy loveliness in this track! heart

wow! impressive! and that's one of the faster cakes too! i want some!

I hope you enjoyed the cake. This was a good track, it has this feel of belonging between moments, in the space in-between.

I'm sure the coffee cake came out magical having this as its soundtrack while baking.  Autumn is here!

Beautiful. I follow your idea and prepare a cake now, while listening to your song in cycle mode. It will be an apple cake ...

thank you everyone - hope you are all enjoying your autumn - this was the coffee cake i use it when i need to feed my starter & don't feel like making bread sometimes - i need to try it with the coffee in it - i've been using milk

fred und luna - may i have your apple cake recipe? heart  do you make apple crisps in Germany?  i cooked some apples and put them on the side of my cake last week

Woah I didn't know there was a coffee cake weekly bake challenge smile  That's awesome that you came up with this ethereal track and had a yummy cake waiting for you.  I don't have coffee cake so I will have to settle for coffee.  This was a soothing track to listen to

Cher Emily, when I went to the store to buy the ingredients for the recipe idea in my mind, I didn't find them all, so I have to postpone the baking act:-) I will inform you about the results as soon as possible. Concerning "apple crisps": There might be a different idea of them in English speaking countries. Here they are called "Apfelkrümel" and that's, according to google and google translator: "Translated from English-Apple Crisp is a dessert made with sprinkles. It is also called Apple Crumble in the US and Canada, a word referring to another dessert in the UK, Australia and New Zealand."

that Apfelkrümel looks DELICIOUS & more complicated that apple crisp - i am not great at making apple pie and do not have a good apple cake recipe (sometimes when i add fruit to cakes it does not cook the cake through - that's why i was curious about your recipe)... so i often just put the fruit on the side of a cake or make apple crisp (i bake my in a cast iron skillet) - it is basically a deconstructed pie with an oat/sugar topping - fast to make & yummy with vanilla ice cream

this video is similar to the one i make

The Great Weekly Beats Baking Challenge.  May be time for a spinoff where we all try and bake a cake and write a song at the same time smile Guaranteed my results would not be as sweet! Nice work.  Hope the cake came out as well as the track.
