This week, I have gone with a drum and bass sort of track, started off deliberately not using any breaks and trying to do a purely moody roller track.

Then, I decided to get the Dreadbox Typhon and that changed things. Messing about with it as part of the track for fun to see the sound capabilities, I easily managed to program the main bass sound in this track that I kinda fell in love with.

Tweaked the Typhon slightly through the track and recorded in one take, then mastered slightly in Ableton. The mix might be janky but I liked the energy a lot.

HA! i was reading that you 'gone with a drum and bass sort of track' while i was listening to the beginning wondering how it'll get there, and then suddenly it landed on the breaks and made me jump in excitement. so excellent!
