Turbulent Air | Techno to play WipeOut to | Floaty techno with odd time signatures

A weird techno track with lots of odd time signatures. And some 4/4, as well. In my quest for making an album of tracks to play WipeOut to, I thought I'd try something different this week. I set out to make something inspired by The Chemical Brothers...but the tune had other ideas. So  I didn't get anywhere near that. The tune wanted to go a different direction. I haven't been feeling all that well lately. And prior commitments conspired against me this week. So I only had 5 hours to make this track. 5 hours plus a lifetime of making music, that is. I like the overall journey of this piece. Though, I feel it could use some more love. Maybe a good, hooky melody. And a proper mix. But it'll have to do for this week. Nonetheless, any and all feedback is welcome.

Anyway, I'm feeling a lot better than the last few weeks. So hopefully I'll get around to listening & commenting on all your tracks again!

Hope you'll feel better soon, and glad you are feeling better than the last few weeks.
Track is a bit chaotic, but it def has some cool elements. That said, I'm a sucker for some nice fast hats, hehe.
The 3:30 beat begs to be explored further; the kick reminds me a bit of Paula Temple's Deathvox.
Which, iirc, is a 3/3.

Sometimes you just gotta follow the track, wherever it takes you!

It seems like it wanted to lead you down a very chaotic, hectic route. I think you were wise to follow it though, cause it came out really cool!

Hope you keep getting better, friend smile and have a good week!

ohhh this has a more dark vibe to it than what I remember from the others. really cool vibe up to 1:20ish. the melody gets a bit loony there to the point of making me uneasy - feels either generated but certainly fits your description of chaotic. love the tension that follows. drone development from like 3:30 to 4+ is very cool. amazing work for 5 hours.

glad you're feeling better.

Lots of tension in this track, fun how it builds and morphs into new sections. Very cool.

This is great! I can visualise Wipeout and can absolutely hear the Chemical Bros inspiration. Just like a Wipeout track (the actual racetrack), this one winds around and offers some cool diversions all while barrelling toward the finish line (with people shooting at you the entire time, I guess?).

Great theme, and I think you got it there.

I’m a huge fan of the wipeout soundtracks, got the vinyls a while ago. Might need to try my own had at this one week.

CoLD SToRAGE would be proud
