You have no idea how much I'm enjoying where you're taking this project ... the artwork alone for this week had me so pumped! Just for the record,"Contact" was on loop on my iPod for a cross-country commute last Monday, and I feel that the same fate awaits "Trip" ... lush is the only word!

Cheers dude! smile I've decided to start accompanying my tracks with custom art work each week going forward, add a bit of colour to the scene! wink

Really happy to hear you're getting good mileage out of Contact wink comments like that keep me pumped each week smile

Your artwork gives the track that special overall feeling. Really nice and cinematic, as usual smile

I always get excited when I see you have a new track up. Love the bluesy rhodes solo in the first half! The second half is more standard ekayi stuff, which is always great. It's got a good sense of mysticism and a tinge of melancholia to it. So nice. It's so short though, I coulda jammed to that last part for 10 more minutes ;-)

One thing i was thinking about was that your approach to 'spacey' music is really the opposite of how a lot of people approach it - where others take it in cold and mechanical ways your music always feels very warm and human to me. I like it.

There might be an extended mix making an appearance in the not to distant future! wink

Thanks! smile

I love the slightly sombre nature at the beginning before the arpeggiation kicks in on the halfway mark. Really feels like you've gone on a journey.

Yes, yes, YES to all of this! Man you continue to surpass yourself and amaze the rest of us in the process. The rhodes is sweet as hell, love the way it sits boldly and proudly at the front of the brooding spaceyness that you've been colonising for the past 13 weeks. And then the phat synths creep in...adore it, and the art is so apt - another classic! big_smile

PS - perfect name too

Fitting artwork; great mood.

First off thanks for the inspiring words! This track has a sweet feel immediately to it with the opening chords.  I especially like the bluesy sound in the beginning.  The arpeggiated synth def makes me feel like I'm going on a journey smile  Great job!

Great concept, had me totally hooked me every second of the way.

Thanks everyone for the extra comments this week! smile Much appreciated!
