Melancholia

By Echotone on February 16, 2014 11:30 pm

After hitting a writer's block last week and missing the deadline, I decided to set some constraint for this week.
A few weeks ago there was the non 4/4 theme that I saw in the forum and so I decided to experiment with that.
So this track is in 5/4 (I think) which is a first for me, but now it's something i really want to explore more deeply.

this is gorgeous.

this is amazing.  my son is making snow angels in legos chilling out to this.
three year olds and legos wut wut!

Lovely stuff - off kilter tempo really adds something

Thanks a lot ! I actually wrote this as a sort of bedtime song for my future kid so If your son likes it that's the best I could hope for:-)

Cheers, yeah i really like odd meters now because even though the beat is just the same loop throughout the song it feels less repetitive than your standard 4/4.

Love the glitches!

Lovely track! kudos!
