Shmow

This is my first song for the Weekly Beats challenge.
I made it by connecting the input and output LFO on my Stylophone DS-2 to the LFO on my Behringer Crave so that they would affect eachother's oscillations. Then I connected the Sample & Hold on my Behringer Neutron to the oscillators on my DS-2, with one inverted. Finally, I made the Crave play an arpeggio of two notes.
I had the LFOs affect the cutoff of the DS-2 and Crave, connected both to effects pedals to delay their notes, and messed around with knobs to affect the sounds that each played to create a droning experience with clear notes coming through at different times.
This was made up from two different recordings because while I loved how the song began, I got carried away and played for nine minutes. That felt a little long, so I recorded a second session with a focus on its ending.
I then mixed and used EQ in Adobe Premier Pro.
I also made an abstract music video for the song using analog camera feedback loops, a video mixer, and some color modifiers, which you can see here (I think, trying to figure out the BBCode):

Oh Discordia! I’d describe this track as psychedelic-horror-plonk and I mean that in the best possible way, really enjoyed it.

Nice set up! Really like what you’re getting out of that DS-2.

Yes, exactly!  If aliens ever invade our planet, I hope they contact you first.  You won't need words or language, just these looped effects.

really cool evolving textures!

love the atmosphere in this

nice and psychedelic

got lost in this as well. Nice!

ditto, this is great, love the feedback-y sounds

the evolution of the fluttery drone at the start is really satisfying, I can see why you spent over nine minutes playing
