Palliative Care

By E-dub on May 29, 2016 2:54 pm

I couldn't do much this week. This was recorded with my phone in my mom's hospital room. She was found on Monday after lying in her remote barn area on the ground for two days with a subarachnoid hemorrhage. Been in a coma since and now we're just waiting for it to be over. If any of you are generous enough to want to help, consider buying some of my music on Bandcamp. It's not necessary to feel pressured or apologetic if you don't, though. Good thoughts and prayers (if you believe in such things) are nice too.

My mom didn't make it.

Oh my goodness, Edmund, I really don't know what to say.  I am absolutely shocked.  I just want to send my love to you and your entire family, as well as love to your mother, wherever she is.

I think it is beautiful to know that this is some of the last music that your mother heard, played by her own son.  I hope that gives you some comfort, to know that you communicated with your mother even though she couldn't.  I am really impressed by your dedication to upload a track.  Your mom would be really proud of you, I think.

*hugs*
