Turn It Up (My First Good Song)

By Dwight Davis on September 16, 2012 10:02 pm

Well, my project this week wasn't quite ready. I worked on it for hours, but I couldn't rush it into being finished. It wouldn't have worked. So, I decided to publish an old song as a filler. A very old song. Yes, this song is vital in my musical history. It was my first not completely crappy EDM song.
Like 2 years ago, my brother was DJ'ing a party, and he asked me to make a song on FL Studio. This was back when I thought preset synths and default drums were cool. I came out with this. This song's good reception really sparked me to get started making better songs. It's pretty awful when you really think about it, but it's still important to me. Enjoy all the Sytrus preset synths, and I'll try to get my real song in by next week.

Boy when that all kicks in, awesome!

Dude, I totally remember this song! This was back when your brother was actually somewhat into music still.

"somewhat into music still". I hope you mean music design, lol. He's still neck-deep in the listening part.
